ERM Review

“I was really impressed by Popsicle Parties Star Wars themed party that we recently went to. They are so professional and their parties are like a seamless operation.

It started with a themed invite for a Star Wars party at the local village hall. This is actually the only job for parents – to send out the invites. Popsicle Parties take care of all the details and allow mums and dads to join in if they like and enjoy the party on the day.

The party hosts welcomed us and showed us where to put our present; they explained the kids had 15 minutes of free play-time (there was a bouncy castle and colouring table). We could then help ourselves to a hot drink and biscuit.

The party gets going with a photo opportunity and a chance to welcome all the kids. Next was 45 minutes of party games. For the quieter children, the hosts were incredibly sensitive and encouraged them to get involved, getting them to be their helpers if they were too shy to join in at first. The atmosphere was buzzing in the hall, with the parents being invited to join in for a dance, which meant the party food was all laid out without the children or guests even noticing.

A fresh selection of party food including their signature ‘popsicle lollies’ went down well and the cake came out, “Happy Birthday” sung and candles blown out. Refuelled, the kids danced around under the bubble machine, played dressing up, or had a tattoo transfer done.

The party ended with another dance, a special themed popsicle tale, (story-time) and a small treasure hunt. The birthday boy was able to hand out his own party bags, balloon and cake and say thank you to his friends, a really nice touch I thought. (Also I was amazed that they got the kids to queue for cake! Unheard of!)

I found Popsicle Parties was a really well planned out 2-hour party, which the parents loved as much as the kids. When you add up the cost of running your own party, with entertainment, venue hire, food and drink, party bags, the price mounts up and up. Popsicle Parties are offering a really good value for money option, which takes the stress out of organising a party and gives the kids an amazing time.”
